Levels of ER: Scope of services provided

  • Defining different levels of ER required to match demand with capacity manpower, equipment and infrastructure requirements.
  • Currently, no defined criteria for marking levels of ER services
  • Suggested parameters for categorizing ER level of services:
    • ER Footfall
    • ER to ICU admission
    • ER holding time
